Sim-to-Kart Evolution Project

April 2024 saw Jamie Chadwick, Britain’s most successful female Formula driver and winner of all the W Series (all-female F1) world championships, partner up with Daytona Motorsport to become a hands-on instructor for the day to 78 budding young female (13 year olds and under) drivers from across the United Kingdom – with the goal of discovering and developing future talent for the F1® ACADEMY.

The grand prize of scholarship places at the Jamie Chadwick Race School, was the day’s incentive, with the top three drivers from each of the two randomly split streams passing Race School to secure a place in Daytona’s INKART Junior Championship – setting a trajectory for future qualifying 14+ female drivers to compete in the prestigious Jamie Chadwick Series.

The F1 Simulator Network is proud to say that one of its F1 Esports Expert drivers, Avaani Punn, achieved P3 by out-competing a large selection of skilled drivers to reach the podium at the Jamie Chadwick Race School. An extraordinary achievement for a driver in just her 2nd season of Esports with far less relative karting experience.

This outstanding result only goes to prove that our Sim-to-Kart Evolution Project (SKEP) is doing exactly what it aims to do – evolve and nurture the race craft of our Esports drivers from virtual to physical sport.

Nice job Avaani.
